Collections
The DAM Collection and Library
In the 1980s, backed by a generous exhibition budget, Heinrich Klotz laid the foundations for the Collection of the DAM that now comprises some 200.000 architectural plans, drawings and sketches, 1320 models as well as pictures and items of furniture. The DAM library also gathers more than 80,000 volumes and evaluated essays on architecture.

The DAM’s collection of plans and models is a veritable treasure trove, and presentation on the Internet is the major aim for the future. A first step is the “Digital Model Collection”.
