Pecha Kucha Night: „How can Global Cities Reach Housing Affordability?” Open Call for Participation

27. April 2023 – 19:00

The international online debate event series “Context, Contrast, Continuity – Heritage Conservation and Urban Development” focuses on how the needs of conservation as well as development requirements can be managed in the urban context. How can historically developed urban fabrics/structures or singular buildings withstand the pressure for change from e.g. the real estate industry or housing demands?

The third season of “Context, Contrast, Continuity” focuses on the following questions: From their inauguration both the ״White City״ of Tel Aviv and the ״Neues Frankfurt״ have dealt with the question of providing affordable housing while implementing the newest planning ideas and technologies of the time.

The new season of “Context, Contrast, Continuity – Monument Protection and Urban Development” will start on Thursday, 27 April 2023 at 7 pm German time at the “Produktionshaus Naxos” in Frankfurt as Pecha Kucha Night: “How can Global Cities Reach Housing Affordability?”
