The DAM library is open weekdays under the applicable hygiene and distance regulations.
Visits are only possible by appointment via e-mail or phone.

For visiting the Collection at Hedderichstrasse a special arrangement is necessary.


Admission DAM: EUR 5,–
Admission DAM reduced: EUR 3,–

Reduced admission to the exhibitions:
pupils, students, trainees, unemployed persons, severely handicapped persons, owners of the Frankfurt Card, groups from 20 persons, members of the Frankfurter Stadt- und Gästeführerverein e.V., volunteers

Free Admission to the exhibitions:
children and youngsters up to 18 years, students at Goethe-Universität, Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main, Frankfurt School of Finance & Mamagement, members of the Society of Friends of the DAM, owners of the DAM Card, the Museumsufer Card and the Museumsufer Ticket, members of AKH, members of ICOM, visitors from twin towns, necessary assistants of handicapped persons, holders of the volunteer card of the state of Hesse, the Juleica

Adult owners of the Frankfurt Pass and refugees pay a reduced admission of EUR 1.– 

Reduced admission on presentation of particular statements.

Special events like Legobaustelle, workshops, STADTplus evenigs and lectures are excluded from the arrangement for free admission; reductions are possible in parts.

Museum store
In our museum store you can obtain all of the DAM’s exhibition catalogs as well as a large selection of architectural publications, which can also be ordered online. Cosmetic bags made from our façade banners, current exhibition posters and postcards round off the small but fine selection.



All exhibition rooms and the auditorium are barrier-free to reach.
Prams may be taken to the exhibitions.
Photos and movies
In the exhibition rooms may be photographed and filmed for private purposes. For non-private photos and film, if necessary with a tripod, please contact us.

Guided tours
On Saturdays and Sundays free public tours take place in our current exhibitions. For group tours or private tours, please contact Yorck Förster. In addition, our partner architour offers guided tours.

The museum has a cloakroom. We can not assume any liability for your personal belongings.

Press requests
You can send your press inquiries directly to our PR department at presse.dam@stadt-frankfurt.de.
At the DAM, you can rent folding seats and bring them to the exhibition. In addition, a walker is available if needed.
Leasing of auditorium space
The DAM is available for your event as a venue. Please address inquiries directly to Annette Becker at annette.becker@stadt-frankfurt.de.
The DAM offers free, non-limited Wi-Fi access, which is currently available in the ground floor, café and auditorium areas. You will receive the password at checkout.
